Our Ministries

Holy Family School of Religious Education (CCD):  Our parish educational program, which is viewed from a comprehensive horizon, is meant to foster faith in both children and adults.  An active CCD program, Sacramental preparation, RCIA, the Holy Family Parish Lenten Mission, adult education, and many other programs are just some of the opportunities offered to help lead you deeper in your faith formation.

Holy Family Youth Alive: The purpose of our parish youth faith formation is to offer a safe and fun Christian environment for the young people of our parish.  Most importantly, Holy Family Youth Alive is established to assist our young people to make an assent of faith in Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church.

Holy Family’s Msgr. Leech Knights of Columbus Council:  We are an organization of Catholic men whose intent is to serve the parish priest as necessary. We also do many charitable projects relating to Church, community, council, youth and family. As was said by Pope John Paul II, the KCs are the right hand of the priest.

Eucharistic Adoration at Holy Family Parish’s St Paul Chapel: Jesus chooses to come before you as the image of your rejection – as a reminder to you of His suffering. He chooses to be present to you in this hidden form, a host, to allow you to search him out, to develop your trust and belief.  Coordinated by Judy Nelson, Eucharistic Adoration offers quiet, reflection, and prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ in the Eucharistic species.  Every Thursday, Holy Family Parish sponsors Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:00 AM until Benediction at 5:00 PM. On Tuesday, at 6:30 PM Our Lady of Perpetual Help Novena followed by mass at 7:00 PM

Liturgical Ministry at Holy Family Parish:  In the years following the Vatican II Council, which ended under the Pontificate of His Holiness Pope Paul VI, liturgical ministry was made available to the laity.  Holy Family Parish encourages liturgical ministry in the form of acolytes, readers, and Eucharistic Ministers.  Help our praying community gathered in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ by becoming a liturgical minister.  Call Sr. Jackie at the parish office at 228-452-4686 or email our parish at holyfamilyparish.cc

St. Vincent de Paul Society: This active service organization strives to follow Christ in helping the poor in their time of need. Each Friday morning, assistance is offered to those people of the community who come seeking help with their dire need for food, utilities, and other emergencies. Carrying out the Works of Mercy should be an outward sign of everyone’s faith. Help this worthy group continue to serve others in Christ.
